The best thing about Thanksgiving leftovers is all the different combos you can make to spruce them up. This Turkey and Dressing Biscuit Sandwich is perfect for brunch on Thanksgiving weekend.
Thanksgiving Leftovers is my love language. Like I live for these leftovers but not just to heat them up and eat them like that – nope, can’t do that. But I do love putting all the leftovers together or spreading them on something and making it even better. I mean have you tried these cornbread dressing waffles? What about this Turkey Bake? Let’s not forget these Turkey and Dressing Tamales.
I love cooking a full Thanksgiving meal and have been known to make more on the day after Thanksgiving because I need some leftovers. But I always, but always, make something a little different.
Side note – do you do the whole Black Friday shopping extravaganza. I did it one year and that was enough for me. I can’t handle the crowds plus I like to make things to give to people. I’ll just spend my day watching Christmas movies, snuggled up eating leftovers.
This year I bring you two new leftovers. Today I am sharing this Turkey and Dressing Biscuit. It’s got dressing, yams, and turkey stacked on a biscuit then drizzled with some turkey gravy followed by a dollop of cranberry sauce. If you have other leftovers, I recommend adding them too. Just make sure your bottom part of the biscuit is thick enough to hold all that yumminess. It will get messy but it is so worth it. Just grab lots of napkins.
Now you can make your own biscuits (ahem) or make it easy on yourself and add a can of biscuits to your grocery order. I added some biscuits, crescents and burrito size tortillas to my grocery order because I knew I was sharing my favorite leftover creations with the family. And I don’t want to cook anything extra if I don’t have to. But you do you.
Tomorrow I’ll bring you another favorite new Thanksgiving leftover. Yum!
