Green beans have got to be one of my favorite vegetables. And don’t even get me started on bacon. Maple syrup. Forget about it. While not all vegetables, these are some of my all time favorites.
When I first saw these little bundles going around the internet I was intrigued. But of course I had to add a little something to them so insert the syrup. Everything just tastes better with it!
These are super simple to make and would be perfect with Thanksgiving dinner or Sunday supper. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 – 16 oz package fresh green beans
5 slices bacon, cut in half
Pure maple syrup
Light brown sugar
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Separate the package of green beans into 10 bundles. Wrap each bundle with 1/2 slice of bacon, placing seam under the green beans. Place on a cookie sheet.
Sprinkle brown sugar over bundles. Drizzle maple syrup over bundles.
Place in the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until bacon is cooked.
