Thanksgiving Leftovers: Turkey and Dressing Crunchwrap

November 26, 2019 By denise Leave a Comment

This Turkey and Dressing Crunchwrap is filled with all the holiday goodness wrapped up in a crunchy tortilla.

So this year I had my first Crunchwrap and y’all I’m obsessed with them. Like I have burrito tortillas in the freezer on standby. But I don’t just make them with taco fillings, I make them with breakfast staples and now, Thanksgiving leftovers – a Turkey and Dressing Crunchwrap.

You heard me, Thanksgiving leftovers all bundled up in a crunch wrap. Now you want to heat up the leftovers and warm the tortilla to make sure it’s all warm and snuggly in that tortilla before you fold it up to keep it all safe in its little pocket. I like to think of the leftovers all snug under a little tortilla blanket just waiting to be eaten. Side note: Have you seen the tortilla blanket (affiliate link) going around social media right now? It’s a little freaky to me.

This leftover delight is so simple to make. Just heat up the leftovers and tortilla then make a little circle of leftovers and fold it up then heat to make it crunchy.  A little tip I have for you is to start and end with some turkey so your tortilla doesn’t get soggy from the dressing, yams, or mashed potatoes.

Here’s a question for you: Do you eat Thanksgiving lunch or save it for supper? My sister and her family go to the in-laws for lunch so we eat later in the day. This year I am doing sandwiches for lunch so we’re not full on the good stuff before they get here. Usually my parents and I snack on the food as it is prepared so by the time they get here I’m already on my way to being full.

These leftovers will be great as we relax on Friday and Saturday. I’m not much of a shopper on Black Friday as I order most things online or give items I’ve handmade.

And can we just talk about gravy. Make sure you save some of those giblets to make gravy because you do not want it from a package. Trust me on this. Just make some from scratch. It’s the best. Now go forth and enjoy the holidays!
