Chocolate Raspberry Crescents

February 19, 2011 By denise 6 Comments

If you have seen any of the recipes I make you will notice a theme: easy, simple and quick. I can’t help it — I’m a simple girl (just looking for a simple boy to love) who doesn’t like to spend a whole lot of time waiting around for food.

Another theme here: Pillsbury Crescent Rolls make everything better. They really do. You can pretty much put anything on/in them and it will make them delicious – as evidenced in this recipe.

This was one of the simplest desserts I have ever made and it was so good. It would be good with Nutella too.

Chocolate Raspberry Crescents

Ingredients:

1 pkg Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
Miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
Raspberry jam
Egg white
Sugar

Instructions:

Preheat oven according to package instructions. Roll out dough and divide into triangles. Spread small amount of jam on triangle. Place a few mini chips on top of jam. Roll dough into crescent shapes. Brush egg white on top of dough. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake according to package instructions.

Note: you can leave off the jam and just use the chocolate chips or substitute Nutella for the mini chocolate chips.

2nd note: I made these this weekend with Nutella and strawberry jam and they were de.li.ci.ous.
