Ever since my fiasco French toast casserole recipe, I have had French toast on my mind. I knew I had to make some soon and decided to make these with egg whites and no butter to make them more Weight Watchers friendly. These were good and could become a weekend staple along with the brown sugar bacon.
Weight Watchers Friendly French Toast
2 egg whites
2 Tbsp 2% milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 pieces of bread
Spray a skillet with Pam spray and heat pan over medium heat. Mix all ingredients, except bread, in a bowl. Dip each piece of bread in the mixture and ensure each piece is completely covered in egg mixture. Once pan is hot, place bread pieces in the pan. Let cook for a 3-5 minutes then flip bread over. Let cook for an additional 3-5 minutes before removing from pan. Serve with low fat syrup.
