Thanksgiving leftovers just got a whole lot better with these Leftover Turkey and Dressing Sliders. They are filled with all the goodness of Thanksgiving in a mini sandwich.
Who’s ready for Thanksgiving dinner? Me. Me. Me!! Every year I look forward to it so much and then the day comes and I’m so stuffed from nibbling while I’m helping to cook everything so I end up eating little plates throughout the day. Then I have so much food leftover for things like these Leftover Turkey and Dressing Sliders. It’s a win-win situation for me. Give me all the Thanksgiving food!!
In general on any normal day, I’m not a leftover person. Growing up we didn’t really eat leftovers often because my mom always made the perfect amount for our family, Or maybe we just made it stretch so we all had enough. So I’ve never really had tons of leftovers in the refrigerator and just never got in that habit but as a single gal, I’m starting to appreciate everyday leftovers. Nowadays I actually make enough so that I have leftovers for lunch and dinner. Saying all this, I’ve always enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner leftovers. It’s a favorite past-time in my house. But I don’t enjoy eating the same thing over and over so I’m already dreaming of what to do with the leftovers.
Previously I made these Turkey and Dressing Waffles that I still love love love. Like seriously love. This year I knew I wanted to make one of my favorite party sandwiches with the leftovers. And these little sammiches did not disappoint. You know the ones. The Hawaiian rolls with a melted butter concoction on top. I piled on the leftovers in these sandwiches and it was a wondrous mess to eat. I’m ready for more!
