When I was thinking about what I would make for the family for Father’s Day, I knew I wanted to grill. And that included dessert. But other than just grilled fruit I didn’t know what to pair it with. Then I remembered how divine the Roasted Strawberries with Balsamic Reduction tasted so I wanted to try that again. Only with kabobs and adding a bit of honey.
Let me tell you right now, if you have never grilled fruit, you have to do it. Like right now. Go ahead and go and get some fruit. I’ll wait.
Got it? Ok, now that you have your favorite fruit, all you have to do is slap on some of this tasty honey balsamic glaze, grill it up and you are set. The heat from the grill makes the sweetness from the fruit come out and combined with the glaze you have one of the best desserts you’ve ever tasted.
My parents and I literally stood over this dish and ate it up as soon as they came off the grill. So good!
