I am patiently working my way through Austin’s food truck (trailer?) scene. I’ve been to several that I haven’t reviewed here so I’ll just have to hit them up again.
The only problem with wanting to try these trucks are that they aren’t very convenient to me. Some of them move around a lot so it’s hit or miss where they will be.
So when Peached Tortilla tweeted that they would be in South Austin not too far from me, I headed on over there.
The line wasn’t too long as I got there about :15 minutes after they started serving. The line moved along quickly and the food didn’t take long to get once you ordered.
Knowing I would be reviewing the food I got several items on the menu:
- BBQ Brisket Slider
- Crab Cake Slider
- Hand Cut Fries with Parmesan and Parsley
- Sweet Potato Fries
This was so much food that I definitely couldn’t eat it all – and my coworkers were happy for that.
Everything was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the BBQ Brisket Slider and the Hand Cut Fries. The truffle mayo that came with the fries was also a treat.
The Crab Cake Slider was also a tasty dish so it came a close second.
I can’t wait to try more of their food. As evidenced by their menu, they have a variety of food.
