I had a Beauticontrol spa party over the weekend and it was a small gathering (very small) but the food was delicious! And the spa was very relaxing.
So part of the joy of having something like this is making the food. I went easy for this one because I didn’t have much time to get everything together.
One of my staples is the oh so simple pigs in a blanket. These I made with turkey weenies and crescent sheets. Delish.
Next was turning my favorite lunch into an appetizer. These little turkey and Havarti pinwheels were so good. A new favorite. Only problem – they are hard to cut, even with a bread knife. I used a pizza cutter.
Turkey and Havarti Pinwheels
Ingredients:
Crescent Seamless Dough Sheet
Oven roasted Turkey deli meat
Havarti cheese, shredded
Philadelphia Baking Creme, Italian cheese and herb
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Roll out dough sheet and form into a long rectangle. Spread Creme over the dough leaving about 1/2 inch edge all around. Place turkey slices on dough then add shredded cheese. Roll up so you have one long rolled dough piece. Slice into 1 inch pieces and place on a baking sheet sprayed with Pam spray. Bake for 15-17 mins.
