My little kick of making food using heart shapes to gear up for Valentine’s Day has continued. Who wouldn’t want to eat something that looks like love? The cuteness may not add a thing to the taste but you will eat it with a smile on your face. And if you are making these for your sweetie, it will put a bug in his ear that V-Day is around the corner. (You can thank me later.)
These peanut butter blossoms are the ones I made during Christmas (well I made a new batch this week USING the recipe FROM Christmas) and absolutely loved them. (Be sure and say love in a sing song voice.) Instead of the Hershey kiss, I used these heart shaped peanut butter and chocolate treats. (See the theme?) They were a steal at .99 cents a bag.

Now this next stop on our heart tour is my favorite breakfast. And it comes from none other than The Pioneer Woman (said in a television announcer voice). I’m going to say it again; I cannot believe I never had these until recently. I feel like I’ve been cheated in life. What else have I been missing?
Pair this with some ham and fried potatoes and it is money in the bank. I will admit it’s a little hard to get it looking pretty and cooked at the same time. Normally you would flip this baby to cook on both sides but we are looking at aesthetics here so none of that flipping here. {On a side note: I’ve mastered doing the wrist flick to flip my potatoes in the pan.} I ended up cooking this on a low flame to ensure the whites were cooked and also put it under the broiler because I like to cook the heck out of everything. I loved it. Have you had this dish before?
