I made a French Toast Casserole for breakfast on New Year’s Day and wanted a different kind of bacon to go with it. I had seen some chefs make it in the oven with brown sugar so I decided to give it a go. They turned out to be delicious and had such a sweet flavor to it. Now the casserole — not so much so I will retry making it and post once it is successful.
Brown Sugar Bacon
Ingredients:
Bacon
Brown Sugar
Instructions:
Place bacon on a cooling rack placed on top of a foil-lined cookie sheet. Sprinkle brown sugar over the bacon. Place in oven and turn oven on to 350. After 15 minutes, flip bacon over. Bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until desired crispness.
