We had leftover turkey and dressing from Christmas dinner and after the first bout of leftovers I knew I had to make something out of the remains again. This time instead of mixing everything together like the left-over turkey bake, I stacked it into a casserole dish which had a crescent roll base. Now I baked it all together but I had to increase the baking time by almost double the time because the crescent rolls weren’t firming. I’m writing the instructions though to bake the crescent rolls beforehand to ensure proper baking. Even with the increased baking time this dish was so good.
Crescent Turkey and Stuffing Casserole
Ingredients:
Crescent rolls
Leftover turkey and dressing
Gravy
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Unroll the crescent rolls and pinch the seams to seal them together. Place in an 8×8 casserole dish and bring up along the sides. Bake according to package instructions, taking out 7-10 minutes before recommended time. Layer the turkey on the crescent rolls then drizzle gravy over the turkey. Spread stuffing on top. Drizzle additional gravy over the dressing. Place the last of the turkey over the stuffing then finish by pouring the remaining gravy over the top. Place in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
