I know your thinking didn’t she just make Southern Green Beans and Potatoes? Why yes I did. They were that good and simple so I made them for dinner tonight. The pork chop recipe is one I got off of the Weight Watchers message board and as with most of the recipes I get from there–it didn’t disappoint. The recipe was a little cryptic so I added in what I though was missing and hopefully I made them correctly. They tasted good anyway. But the sauce did thicken up too fast so I had to add more water (I have a tendency to cook on too high of a burner).
Skillet Barbeque Pork Chops
Ingredients:
1 pound(s) lean boneless pork chop
1/3 cup(s) unpacked brown sugar
4 Tbsp Ketchup
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
3/4 cup(s) water
Instructions:
Heat skillet with cooking spray over medium-high heat.
Coat each pork chop with brown sugar and place in skillet. (I browned mine a little here and them flipped them over)
Spread 1 T ketchup over each pork chop.
Mix Worcestershire sauce & water and pour into skillet.
Turn to high until boiling, then turn to low and simmer 35-40 minutes. Sauce will thicken during this time.
