Who doesn’t love pizza – or any mini food for that matter. Put it together and you have mini pizza’s.
After I took my niece and nephews to the movies, we went home to make pizzas.
They had fun making them and they even ate them all — which is unusual for them.
This recipe came from the Weight Watchers Message Board and was simple and loved by all. They do taste “biscuity” but I love biscuits and apparently so do the kids.
Mini Pizza’s
Ingredients:
1 item(s) Pillsbury Reduced fat biscuits – flaky layers
1/2 cup(s) pizza sauce
4 oz low-fat shredded cheddar cheese (also used mozzarella cheese)
16 slice(s) Hormel Pillow Pack Turkey Pepperoni (used regular pepperoni)
1/2 cup(s) bell pepper(s) (didn’t use these)
1/2 cup(s) frozen chopped onions (didn’t use these)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375.
Flatten biscuits between palms. (Jacob made his a deep dish but by the time it came out of the oven it was identical to the others. )
Place onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Split evenly the pizza sauce, cheese and pepperoni on the 8 biscuits.
Bake 15 minutes, or until biscuits are brown and cheese is bubbly.
